Ageism in Work Place Goes Both Ways

Older workers aren’t the only ones affected by ageism. As Baby Boomers start to retire, more and more of their vacant roles are being filled by those from younger generations. These Younger workers in leadership positions are running in to problems with employees not fully respecting them in those positions because of their age and perceived lack of experience. These younger managers are expected to “prove” themselves in order to earn the respect that is already given to those in the same position of an older age.
