Social Security Proposals
Candidates have finally started talking about Social Security and giving their own views on how best to reform the system. It’s no secret that Social Security is unsustainable in its current form and is in danger of falling to insolvency by the 2030s. Unfortunately, many of the proposals put forth are not as optimal as they could be, and some are outright destined to fail. The truth is, Social Security was not meant to last forever in its current form when it was first implemented, and any fixes in the short term are just meant to buy time to come up with a better fix in the future. With the speed in which these changes would occur, this is the most likely change that would get pushed through. For more information on this subject, visit this article by Alfred C.
