Generational Divergence

The younger generations are doing things completely differently than their grandparents did them. Millennials are generally starting their adult lives later than the generations before them, everything from starting careers, to marriage, to home buying. The reason for these things basically boils down to money and financial stability. On average, Boomers were more independent and financially stable at the same age as Millennials are today. Almost everything today is more expensive even when taking inflation in to account, and the equivalent paying jobs have higher barriers to entry. This coupled with the soaring tuition rates puts Millennials at a decided disadvantage over Baby Boomers at the same stage in life.
