My Social Security Goes Back on Texting
Texting is no longer required in order to use online Social Security accounts due to a huge amount of backlash by seniors. Two step authentication is still optional for those that would like to take advantage of the extra security. During this period of mandatory text codes many seniors were locked out of their online accounts for Social Security because they either did not have a cell phone or did not have a text plan.
