Political Identities of Millennials and Boomers

It may be surprising to many to learn that Millennials are on the more “conservative” side as a whole. In fact, according to a recent study by the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Millennials are more conservative than both Gen X and Boomers at the same age. Millennials are also polarized than either other generation. Politics is more “mainstream” now than in the past with more people holding concrete opinions and identities, twice as many as in the 1970s.
