Will You Relocate in Retirement?

In a post on www.kiplinger.com, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance editor-at-large Janet Bodnar takes a look at the thought processes that often go through the minds of the newly-retired…to move or not to move. Bodnar points out that studies by  Age Wave and Bank of America Merrill Lynch indicate “that 36% of retirees do not anticipate moving in retirement. But more than one-third (37%) of retirees have moved, and 27% expect to move at some point.” She provides some thoughts on the pros and cons, and suggests some items that need to be considered in making the decision.
