Social Security 2100 Hearing: Opposing Views

The first House Ways and Means Committee hearing on the H.R. 860–the Social Security 2100 Act–unfolded yesterday on Capitol Hill, with opposing dynamics setting the tone for the debate. With Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass. taking the position that the bill “ensures full benefits for future beneficiaries,” and Rep.
