Will COVID-19 Affect Your Social Security?
The quick answer is no, the “COVID-19” Coronavirus will not cause any delays or withholding of your Social Security benefits. Social Security offices are closed to in-person visits by the public, but still open during regular hours for telephone support and they are still working full time on normal in-house matters.
