Medicare Part B premiums could eliminate your increase in 2022 - The National Interest

Almost every year, the Social Security Administration adjusts the value of the Social Security benefits based on the yearly Consumer Price Index (COLA) provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  According to the Senior Citizens League, the increase set to take effect in January 2022 could be as high as 6.2 percent. However, there is the possibility that many retirees might not be able to see this raise.  Why? Medicare Part B premiums that seniors pay for out of their Social Security checks will increase as well.
