Social Security Paper Checks Are Ending September 30th, 2025 - Newsweek.com
The current administration is ending the insuance of paper Social Security checks to reduce administrative costs and fraud from paper checks being stolen. Recipiients still receiving paper checks need to switch to either direct deposit or prepaid Direct Express debit card before September 30th, 2025.There are going to be a few exceptions.
