One month to 2026 COLA is announced - NAPA

The 2026 Cost-of-Living Adjustment is expected to be announced on October 15th by the Social Security Administration; however, this has not stopped industry experts from predicting the amount of the increase. The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) predicts that the 2026 COLA will be 2.7 percent, but Mary Johnson, a retired Social Security and Medicare policy analyst, predicts that it will be 2.8 percent.
