AI and Retirement Planning: An Assessment

With a basic question–“How much should I have saved for retirement?” posed to ChatGPT, followed by an evaluation by a financial advisor, Shilling concludes that AI can produce the information sought, but notes further that verification is in order if it is to be relied on. He further notes that much of the content delivered by ChatGPT “…was nearly directly pulled from various stories on the topic from places like Bankrate, The Motley Fool and Investopedia, to name a few.
