Beware! Social Security Scams Are Dangerous! - AL.com

Scammers – those nefarious individuals who try to bilk you out of your money – are becoming more and more sophisticated in their approach to con you. Be extremely vigilant and never click on anything in an email you receive which claims that your SS benefits will be stopped, or says that it’s urgent that you act immediately lest your benefits be lost. The Social Security Administration has recently issued a serious warning about these scams, which are described in this AL.com article by Leada Gore.
