Collecting Social Security, but want to hit the “reset button”? Here’s how.

For some folks, automatically applying for Social Security as soon as they’re eligible seems to be the right choice at the time.  Others may start Social Security benefits a little later, but after collecting a while and their circumstances change, they wish they hadn’t started their benefits.  Well, you do have options, from withdrawing your application within a year of applying, or by simply suspending your benefits until a later time and building some delayed retirement credits while your payments are suspended.  This article by Katie Young appears at CNBC.com and explains two easy fixes for the Social Security dilemma of changing your mind.  Click here to read more.
