Coming Soon: Medicare’s Annual “Open Enrollment” Period! - Henderson News
It’s coming up fast: Medicare’s annual “Open Enrollment Period” which starts each year on October 15th and runs through December 7th. As described in this Q&A by Toni King, appearing in The Henderson (TX) News, this is the time to enroll in a new plan which, in the case described, will result in a Late Enrollment Penalty because the questioner didn’t enroll in a plan during their Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) for prescription drugs.
