Details Emerging on Senate Pandemic Relief Proposals
Senior Forbes contributor Kelly Phillips Erb takes a look at some of the potential outcomes of the pandemic relief bills being crafted in the Senate, noting that the “Health, Economic Assistance, Liability Protection, and Schools (HEALS) Act is a compendium of proposals being introduced separately for consideration. Of particular importance to seniors, of course, is the potential for another stimulus check, which Ms. Erb addresses with this comment: “As with the HEROES Act, the Senate proposal would make clear that payments should be automatic for those receiving Social Security retirement or disability benefits (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), RRB, or VA benefits.”
