Earnings Limits Will Stay the Same for 2016

In 2016 the earnings limits will stay the same in regards to Social Security benefits. This is because there is no COLA change in benefits, which means that the earnings limit will hold at $15,720 for those younger than 66 and $41,880 for those over. The only thing that affects this number is how much you earn as a worker, other income and income of a spouse does not count towards this total.
