Enhancing Your Social Security Online Account Security - SSA.Gov
Social Security is adding a “Security Authentication PIN (SAP) feature to your My Social Security Account Online account in August 2025. This is an optional feature. It is designed to make your identiy verification process faster and more secure when you call the Nation 800 number (800-772-1213) to handle your Social Security business.
