Former SSA commissioner Martin O’Malley, speaking in a recent Florida town hall forum, expressed severe concerns for the future of Social Security’s customer service capability. O’Malley, who resigned from the Commissioner position in November of last year, cited excessive wait times for support, as well as concerns expressed by beneficiaries over the potential for benefit cuts.
