Former SSA Commissioner Has Strong Comments About Fate of Social Security

O’Malley, who resigned from the Commissioner position in November of last year, cited excessive wait times for support, as well as concerns expressed by beneficiaries over the potential for benefit cuts. Other speakers at the forum addressed the need to honor the promise of Social Security, along with the likelihood of future voter reaction to the developing problem.
