Generational Stock Picks

A recent report showed that Baby Boomers were twice as likely to own stock as Millennials. The same report also shows the trends that these two generations take in what stock they decide to invest in. It comes as no surprise that they favor different companies as well as different sectors. The trends show that Boomers are a little more conservative in their stock picks, going for companies that are well established and have already proven themselves in the market, whereas Millennials are more likely to pick startups and tech related companies. This shows that Boomers are less impulsive in their picks and suggest they put more research in to their investments.
