Happy Labor Day from Social Security Report
Monday, September 2, 2019 is the 125th anniversary of Labor Day being celebrated as a national holiday. Often regarded as the unofficial end to summer, it is a day set aside to celebrate and honor the American worker, constituting a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the United States. Hopefully you have the ability to enjoy time off from work as we do here at Social Security Report. We will return tomorrow with informative articles on Social Security. In the meantime, read more about how Labor Day came to be and the dispute over the founder in this brief summary on the U.S. Department of Labor’s site.
