AEI Announces June 3 Public Event on the National Debt
As the debt clock continues to churn upward and Social Security’s finances continue to hurtle toward the insolvency cliff, the issue of controlling federal debt levels is drawing steady attention. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) recognizes this issue, and has assembled a forum of former policymakers, economic experts, and fiscal reform movement leaders to discuss the scale of America’s fiscal challenge, statutory and constitutional reforms that can reduce the deficit, and the current status of the state-led campaign for a balanced budget amendment.
