CATO Institute announces May 6 “deeper dive” into public debt and retirement security

As follow-up to an  April 30 conference organized by the Pension Research Council at The Wharton School on public debt and retirement security, Jessica Riedl (Brookings Institution), Eugene Steuerle (Urban Institute), and Romina Boccia (Cato Institute) will host a continuation of the discussion on Social Security’s contribution to the federal debt. The session, titled “Social Security in the Red: Implications for Federal Debt,” will be held at Cato’s Washington Office (1000 Massachusetts Ave, NW) and is available for online viewing.
