In a Ways and Means Republicans press release yesterday, Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08) called for “…full and faithful implementation of the law is the next critical step to lock in these gains and lower costs for families.” The press release outlines the benefits of increased in-network activity and the correlating reductions in surprise billings cited by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), explaining how further implementation of the Bill’s provisions will serve to achieve “… full affordability and transparency benefits” projected in the Bill.
