Ways & Means Chairiman Welcomes IRS CEO Bisignano at Hearing
Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08) provided opening remarks at a hearing today at which IRS CEO Frank Bisignano updated the Committee on the state of the Internal Revenue Service. His opening remarks are presented in a press release, which can be reviewed here. Bisignano, who, of course, is also Commissioner of Social Security, offered testimony on the follow-up activities related to the Working Families Tax Cuts signed into law last year, and responded to questions from Committee members during the hearing.
