How much do you know about Social Security?

Recently, a major insurance company distributed a Social Security quiz to 1,500 people.

This quiz was 10 simple true-or-false questions that were very basic. Only 28 percent of the 1,500 who took the quiz got a passing grade. I hope our readers could do better because we talk about the importance of Social Security quite often.

For middle class and lower-income workers, Social Security is an extremely important retirement asset. Not understanding the rules could cost your family thousands of dollars in some cases. It would be foolish to leave so much on the table without at least making an informed decision.  Read more…
