HSAs and holistic financial wellness - The Street

An average retired couple age 65 in 2020 may need approximately $295,000 saved (after tax) to cover health care expenses in retirement according to the Fidelity Retiree Health Care Cost Estimate. You may want to consider a Health Savings Account (HSA) as part of creating a safe and secure retirement.  HSA plans have been around almost two decades, and even though they offer some great benefits, they have been largely underutilized as another retirement savings account.
