Answer: Yes, you can. If you have insurance through your own or your spouse’s current employer, you can delay Medicare enrollment until you/ your spouse who insures you retires. This Special Enrollment Period to enroll into Medicare lasts the entire time you are insured by a current employer after you become eligible for Medicare and for 8 months after your employment ends.
