In N.H. forum, Christie touts Social Security changes, drug policies

With his campaign for the presidency bet squarely on New Hampshire, Gov. Chris Christie on Monday fielded questions right in his political wheelhouse, including how to tackle big problems like Social Security and the heroin epidemic. “We underestimate the American people,” Christie said at Saint Anselm College. “It’s not the American people who are failing the entitlement system, it’s the leaders of our country who are failing the American people by not telling them the truth.” Read more…
