Medicare’s General Enrollment Period is on now

If you missed the boat when you had the chance to enroll in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period, you probably know by now that you can’t just sign up for Medicare whenever you want – there are specific periods of time reserved for enrolling, and the one known as the General Enrollment Period is now upon us. General Enrollment runs from January 1st through March 31st of each year, and you can enroll in Medicare during this time, but your coverage won’t start until July 1st.
