Millennials in a Post Boomer Work Place

Many companies are facing a crisis in the coming years with the exodus of Baby Boomers from the work place and in to retirement. Millennials are quickly becoming the largest age group in the work place as Boomers leave their positions vacant. The problem is in the shift in experience and knowledge. Many companies did not have a plan in place for the enormous shift in worker experience. Millennials in many areas are finding themselves running the show without the knowledge that their elders held. This is not to say the Millennials are not bright enough or smart enough to take over, but they are without the experience that only comes with time.
