More Support for the Full Retirement Age Decision

The “when to file” question is one of the the most frequent ones we handle at the AMAC Foundation’s Social Security Advisory Service, and our response most often begins with the “it depends” clause. We point out the discount applied to monthly benefits if one applies early, as well as the benefit of deferring to (or past) one’s full retirement age.
