On-line tool to estimate your Social Security benefit

Wouldn’t it be nice to know what you get each month in Social Security, and even better if you see that figure based on various ages? You can by creating a my Social Security account. You’ll need to verify your identity, so have your Social Security number on hand. Kailey Hagen explains the on-line tool and notes the default gives your estimated benefit at your full retirement age (FRA). which is now 67 for most. The estimator assumes you’ll continue to work and earn the same amount as last year until you reach that claiming age, but you can change these assumptions. Full article here.
