Options When Retiring Without Savings

Many people are entering in to retirement with little to no savings. Many experts have proclaimed this as an “epidemic” in our country as fewer and fewer people are entering in to retirement with adequate savings. This severely limits options in retirement as Social Security is not enough to sustain the average beneficiary in retirement. To compensate, people are working longer and longer in to their retirement years than before. The problem here is that some are collecting Social Security while continuing their work meaning that they are not even getting the added benefit of higher benefit checks later.
