Politicians ignore interests of students, take advantage of younger generation

As candidates campaign for the impending midterm elections, don’t expect your future to be taken into consideration by those asking for your vote. Don’t expect them to run on policies that would save Social Security for our generation, or lower student loan rates. Don’t expect them to support policies that would provide jobs after graduation or any sort of reward for all the hard work you put in here at JMU — instead, expect to be forgotten in 2014.
