Potential presidents can’t hide from national debt

A bipartisan fix in the next administration requires honest discussions today.

Presidential candidates are crisscrossing the country — especially Iowa and New Hampshire — making the case why they deserve their party’s nomination for president. Candidates will separate themselves from the pack by — to borrow Adlai Stevenson’s line — talking sense to the American people.

As former elected officials and partisans (for different sides), we know the clearest road to election is by offering a clear vision of what you will do once in office. And it is only by spurring a discussion about these issues now that whoever wins will be able to take action once in the White House. Read more…
