Recap for Social Security in the Past Year

More happened in the past year for Social Security than usually happens, Social Security does not often see as many changes as it did in 2015. This is a good first step in spurring more discussions on the best direction to take Social Security in the near future. 2015 saw a small COLA increase at the beginning of the year as part of its yearly adjustment, but also saw the decision for the third time in its history for no similar increase for the following year. 2015 also saw the closure of many popular loopholes and filing strategies under the guise of a Federal Budget Bill.
