Maurie Backman of The Motley Fool discusses three things those headed for retirement must confront.  The usual and most obvious is when to file for Social Security, as claiming it at any time before full retirement age (now 66 or 67 depending on birth year) means a permanent monthly reduction in benefits for life.  But Backman’s piece goes beyond that by discussing where to live and what folks might do with their new found leisure time.  Read it in its entirety here.
