Senate Finance Committee Introduces Bill Adverse to Claimants

On February 12, 2015 Republican members Orrin Hatch and Sam Johnson of the Senate Finance Committee introduced“The Social Security Disability Insurance and Unemployment Benefits Double Dip Elimination Act of 2015″ in both the Senate and the House. The new law would prevent insureds and claimants from receiving both Social Security Disability benefits and unemployment benefits at the same time.
