Social Security Reform Proposal from AEI

The American Enterprise Institute just released what they are calling a conservative plan for Social Security reform. They are calling for action from the government in rebuilding a new Social Security system in order to fix the pitfalls of the current system. They believe that the candidates for this coming election are dodging this important issue, and that this problem needs to be addressed and brought forward as an issue that needs attention. They stress that the system is no longer sustainable as it was set up and that today’s new work force needs new rules in order to properly function. To read more on their ideas visit this article by Andrew G. Biggs with the American Enterprise Institute.
