Staying Put in Retirement

The majority of Americans prefer to not move in retirement. 83% of those nearing retirement or already in retirement say that they will stay in their current home for as long as possible, they have no desire to sell, move, or rent. The problem is many will not be able to afford to do this. Downsizing in retirement is a necessary move for many people in order to sustain themselves.
