The big question: Wait until age 70 for Social Security?

As any financial planner or benefit advisor will tell you, waiting until you are 70 years old to claim Social Security means you’ll get the maximum benefit possible. True, there’s an 8 year window between age 62 and 70 when you can claim, but the tricky part is figuring out when is the best time for you, taking your particular personal circumstances into account. Surely getting the biggest benefit possible is tempting, and there are some really good reasons to wait, but there are also reasons why waiting may not be the best choice for you.
