You’ve no doubt seen articles trumpeting the trends that people are remaining in the workforce longer and longer these days, and there are positive reasons why this is so. The cognitive benefits of staying engaged in challenging environments is one of them, and the importance of remaining socially connected is another, not to mention the financial aspects of building that nest egg just a bit larger.
