The “Funding Our Future” initiative
In a recent public letter to President Biden, a group of 31 organizations including, leading economic think tanks and financial institutions, is urging the administration to create an inter-agency task force to focus on legislation on pensions, Social Security, and other savings. Their goal should be to make it easier for Americans to save, help them transform their savings into retirement income, and support the needs of Social Security and current future retirees.
