The Plight of America’s Seniors and Veterans

In an article titled “Times get tougher for seniors, veterans,” reporter Chris McKenna of the Times Herald-Record takes a look at the impact that a zero COLA is having on specific segments of the American public, and highlights pending legislation designed to potentially alleviate some of the burden. Although not referenced specifically in the article, AMAC is squarely behind the need for relief via its emphasis on H.R. 4140, the SENIORS Act, calling for a cost-of-living adjustment for seniors and veterans.
