The role of the company in helping employees save for retirement
A new study by MetLife indicates that Americans have accepted a shift in responsibility for their own retirement security. In the firm’s “Role of the Company survey,” 54 percent of the individuals accept that they are primarily responsible for their own retirement security, versus 27 percent who said employers are and 19 percent who said government is.
