NARFE is undertaking a series of events the week of September 16th to draw attention to the Chained CPI and urge Members of Congress to oppose this change. To protect your COLA, you must contact your Representative and Senators during NARFE’s Call Congress Week. The average CSRS annuitant would lose $48,000 during his/her retired years under the Chained CPI.
