The savvy senior explains that there are several programs available to assist those who are struggling to pay their Medicare and medication expenses, including a “Medicare Savings Program” which assists with out-of-pocket costs for Medicare Part A and Part B, and a Medicare Part D “Extra Help” plan which can assist with prescription drug costs.
