Voters and Solvency of Social Security

64% of Americans believe that Social Security should be the top issue leading in to the election. The impending solvency crisis faced by Social Security, according to many studies, is looming as soon as the 2030s. With less than 20 years to go, Americans are clamoring for any news that the government is working towards a solution that will not leave those working high and dry in their retirement years. Many ideas have been floating around, from full on reform to supplemental retirement accounts sponsored by the government, but there has been no reinforcement that an issue is actively being pursued.
