Wedding bells bring changes to tax situation

If you’re getting married this summer or anytime this year, there are few steps you should take that will help make tax time easier next year. Here are some tips to help keep tax issues that may arise from your marriage to a minimum:
• Change of Name: Your name and Social Security numbers listed on your tax return must match with the records from the Social Security Administration. So, if you have a name change, you must report it to the SSA. The easiest way to get the forms is to download them from the SSA website at www.SSS.gov.
